No houses that is... Going to go look at another one on Monday and see how it goes. And probably one more later next week (the owners are on vacation until Monday). After that, there's nothing else we really want to see

or can agree on, so I guess we'll just wait for something else to open up!
I got all the kiddies back from dad today, so we have a full house again! The youngest 2 are fighting already (they love to do that I think!)

and really they have been quite trying today. The youngest quite frankly did not sleep NEARLY enough last night, and we are all paying for it today! We really need a better night-night routine. Dh usually takes him up to bed and stays with him until he sleeps, but sometimes (like last night

) he is more interested in getting back to his online poker and gets really angry at ds3 if he doesn't sleep fast enough. Well, there really is no forcing a two-year old to sleep, and I'm quite certain that yelling, screaming, and forcefully holding the child in bed is doing nothing to encourage a peaceful transition to dreamland

. I went up and told dh to go back downstairs as he was entirely too worked up, but poor ds3 didn't sleep until after 1 a.m.

Seriously thinking of firing dh from bedtime duty, as this has become more and more of a habit. Online poker is no reason to put a child through that, and I enjoy putting him to bed so it seems logical to me...
Had a bad night with dh last night (no, really? couldn't tell!

) and I think everything he did was getting on my last nerve. Started with dinner, when one steak and 3 ears of corn were not enough for this man

. He had to eat teenager's steak too (teenager had left before dinner and asked me to keep his until he got home). Then of course it's not dinner without salad so he made one out of half a head of lettuce and 2 tomatoes, then jumped all over ds3 for trying to "steal" some of his tomatoes. Ds3 loves loves LOVES tomatoes, but daddy was having no part of sharing with him. Now tell me, seriously, who needs 2 steaks (not little ones either, full size and all), 3 ears of corn, and a salad, and can't spare a few slices of tomatoes for a two-year-old?

I had to slice another tomato for ds3 (not like we didn't have more in there, geez) and cook another steak for teenager.

He will eat that much every night and day if it's there, and yet stays steady at 6'4 and 190. Go figure. If I ate like that I'd weight 800 lbs by the end of the year. I don't eat much to start with, and next to him it looks like I eat nothing so I guess I just don't understand how a person could seriously feel "hungry" enough to eat all that. But he swears he does. Every meal. Which is fine when we have it, but I can't stand for someone to take away from the kids (teenager) or not share with the kids (ds3) when there is so much food. Give me a break already, you're not going to starve before breakfast!
So yeah, after that I was already upset and the bedtime fiasco didn't help. Trying hard to be over it today, and it's easier since it's just me and the kiddies for now. Need to get ds3 in bed before he comes home though, or I might lose it...
I'm off to work on that, it's getting to be about that time.
